The UK betting community has named William Hill as the ‘best supplier of free bets’ in a recent survey.
Players cast their votes in the Annual Free Bets Survey 2022 conducted by betting aggregator, freebets.ltd.uk.
As part of its annual survey, freebets.ltd.uk asked its 10,000-strong betting community a series of questions. Questions were designed to gauge the appetite of modern players with regards to betting offers, betting site features, responsible gambling and so on
William Hill came up trumps, with results showing the bookmaker to be the favoured free bets supplier with 33% of participants. Fair deposit and wagering requirements were common reasons provided. Paddy Power free bets came a close second gaining 29% of the vote, followed by Ladbrokes (20%), Coral (5%), BetVictor (4%) and Unibet (2%).
As well as the best suppliers, the survey drilled down into specifics about what players value.
65% wanted their free bets to be from ’responsible’ betting sites. More than 70% said that they were willing to claim free bets from new betting sites while a surprising 4% said that they would only claim free bets from betting sites that offered crypto as a payment method.
